Stefano Bollani returns to the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino with his new tour: “Piano Solo Tour,” on Saturday, March 22, 2025.

As is now customary when Stefano Bollani takes the stage, each concert promises to be a unique event. There is nothing planned in his performances: Piano Solo is a show that is reborn every night with an always unexpected repertoire in which the musical flow is governed by the inspiration of the moment.

At the piano, Bollani always manages to create something unprecedented by jumping between genres and eras, from classical music to jazz to South American rhythms, from Poulenc to Lucio Dalla via Frank Zappa, in a great musical game where improvisation and creativity lead the way. There is, however, a single fixed point in Bollani's shows: the great chemistry with his audience, each time called upon to compose together with the artist the evening's program with their own unpredictable requests.
