The Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra and one of the most important groups of the last half century and beyond, the mighty The Who, together for an extraordinary appointment during the programming of the 'Firenze Rocks 2023'.

The legendary British rockband, which will celebrate 60 years of career next year, includes Florence in its four European stages and does so by 'bringing' the Orchestra del Maggio Professors on stage, in their only Italian tour leg; demonstration of the very high musical quality of the Maggio orchestral ensemble, which once again proves to be among the most appreciated and esteemed orchestras in the world.

The tour, which brings The Who back to perform on more dates in the old continent after seven years of waiting, follows the one recently held in North America where the British ensemble performed, with enormous success from critics and audiences, in over 25 dates between the United States and Canada, again accompanied by some of the finest American and Canadian orchestral formations.
