The Board of Directors of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Foundation unanimously approves the financial statements for the year 2023

Florence June 28th 2024 - The Board of Directors of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Foundation - also present was the mayor of Florence and president of the Maggio Foundation Sara Funaro who wished to convey her greetings to the members of the Council, the Auditors and the superintendent Carlo Fuortes - met today to approve the financial statements for the year 2023.

The Financial Statement closes with over € 7,400,000 of profit, thanks to the decisive extraordinary contribution made by the Founding Members: the Ministry of Culture, the Municipality of Florence and the Tuscany Region; by the Metropolitan City and the private partners Fondazione CR Firenze and Intesa Sanpaolo, who approved the Recovery Plan presented during the commissioner's management. This allowed us to restore a level of equity that had been eroded by the loss carried forward in 2022.

The Board unanimously approved the 2023 financial statements, appreciating the result.

Taking note of a substantial reorganization of the Foundation which lays the foundations for a definitive relaunch of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and its newfound solidity, the Council recommended continued attention to the economic and financial balance of the management.
