The Teatro del Maggio extends a warm welcome to soprano Lidia Fridman who - making her debut in our theatre - will take the part of ‘Salome’ in the Richard Strauss opera that will open the 87th edition of the Maggio Fiorentino Festival.

Lidia Fridman takes over the singing company in place of the already announced Allison Oakes who was forced to leave the production due to an indisposition.

Wishing Lidia Fridman well in her work and thanking her for her availability, the Theatre salutes and thanks Allison Oakes for her commitment to the production.
